Dental Implants
Gaps in your smile can leave you feeling self-conscious, but a missing tooth or teeth has more of an effect on your overall health than you may think. The roots of a tooth do more than just hold it in place: they stimulate the bone tissue in your jaw. The jawbone needs stimulation from the roots to maintain its density and strength. When a tooth is lost, the lack of stimulation results in a loss of bone density. As the bone continues to atrophy, it causes the surrounding teeth to shift. This can have a significant impact on the features of your face, causing you to appear older than your years.
Dental implants are the only treatment proven to stop jawbone atrophy. The titanium posts that serve as the base for implants act the same way as the roots of a tooth, stimulating the bone tissue in order to keep your jaw strong and healthy. Dental implants provide a stable platform that allows our dentists to rebuild your smile with life-like restorations including crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Utilizing the latest techniques and innovations in dental technology, cosmetic dentistry can enhance the appearance of your smile. Our cosmetic dentists can target the problems that leave you unsatisfied with your smile. Dr. Casey can address cosmetic dental issues such as stained or discolored teeth, chipped or cracked teeth, crooked teeth, and gummy smiles. Regardless of your oral needs, we can help you overcome self-consciousness about the appearance of your teeth. Our dentists offer a wide range of treatments that can result in a luminous smile.
At Smile Montreal, however large or small, we can offer a solution to your cosmetic dentistry needs. We can conceal a range of imperfections with porcelain veneers. If veneers are not right for you, dental bonding can correct chips, cracks, or gaps. We can also quickly and painlessly enhance your smile with professional teeth whitening, leaving your smile up to eight shades whiter. Porcelain crowns can repair and protect a damaged or severely decayed tooth.
Reconstructive Dentistry
Our dentists can treat issues affecting the health, function, and comfort of your smile. Unhealthy teeth, gums, or bone tissues can cause discomfort and pain as well as affect your appearance and dental health. If left untreated, these oral health issues can make chewing and speaking clearly difficult. By addressing these issues with restorative dental treatments, you can support your overall well-being and boost your self-confidence with an attractive and healthy smile.
If you face multiple oral health problems, we can develop a comprehensive full mouth reconstruction treatment plan. Orthodontic treatment can straighten you smile and reduce or eliminate discomfort by giving balance to your bite. Dr. Patrick Casey's advanced training in neuromuscular diagnosis and treatment allows him to address the frustrating and debilitating symptoms that accompany TMJ disorder. Preventative care, the foundation of dentistry, can keep your smile beaming with regular cleanings and check-ups. Dentures can restore the appearance of your smile with traditional and implant-supported options available.
Sedation Dentistry
It is no secret that patients can be reluctant to receive much needed care due to fear of the dentist. Unfortunately, this anxiety means that minor dental issues that could be easily treated if caught in time may evolve into more severe cases requiring more invasive treatments. At Smiles Montreal, our dentists believe in providing our patients with comfort and safety while providing advanced cutting-edge solutions, which is why we offer sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety.
Dr. Patrick Casey is one of the few Montreal dentists certified to administer sedation during dental procedures. During you next appointment with us, you can choose from several sedation dentistry techniques to reduce anxiety and alleviate your dental phobia. Conscious sedation allows patents to achieve a complete state of relaxation while under our care. For more complex procedures and patients with severe dental phobia, IV sedation achieves a deeper state of relaxation. Whatever your dental needs, with sedation dentistry, you do not have to sacrifice your oral health due to fear of the dentist.

Technology State-Of-The-Art
Our dentists use the latest proven dental technology so that they can treat your dental needs faster and more efficiently and provide more accurate diagnoses. This allows you to receive more comfortable care and spend less time in the dentist's chair.
Laser Dentistry
As part of our commitment to utilizing advanced technology to give you the best dental care possible, our dentists have incorporated laser dentistry into our practice. We can use lasers to quickly and effectively eliminate unwanted tissues with procedures such as cosmetic gum contouring. We can also use them to treat periodontal disease by eradicating bacteria. Our dentists can also address dental decay and surface blemished with minimal discomfort and a greatly reduced recovery time.
i-CAT® Technology
i-CAT technology uses 3-D imaging to generate a complete view of the jawbone. This allows our dentist to accurately diagnose and develop a treatment plan for patients with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder. It is also used in the planning and placement of dental implants to give patients the most benefits.
Plan
Intraoral Cameras
Using cutting-edge intraoral cameras, our dentists can take images of the inside of your mouth. This allows Dr. Casey to share exactly what he sees as he examines the state of your dental health. This helps you understand the overall condition of your smile so that you can make an educated decision as to developing a treatment plan.

Amazing experience! A very dedicated and friendly staff. Educational and pleasant visit. I am not a fan of going to the dentist and they made sure I was comfortable in every way. Would highly recommend.
Our Results Porcelain Veneers
This patient had spacing between his teeth and chose porcelain veneers, a type of instant orthodontics, which provides a natural result. We prepared the teeth in specific conservative ways to achieve a more attractive smile and added the finishing touch with laser gum contouring.
