- Use a piece of floss that is roughly 18 inches in length, wrapping either end around the middle fingers and leaving about two inches to work between the teeth
- Slide the floss gently up and down between the teeth
- At the base of each tooth, curve the floss so that it reaches between the tooth and gum line
- As you progress from tooth to tooth, move to a clean section of floss
